Polished!

Kim looking trendy and polished.
I love her flat RED shoes. Really bring this outfit together.
I think being bold with color really makes you stand out.

One word: Accessorize!
This is a key to completing a look.
Kim, your an inspiration!!
Love it all...

Today at Church in Salt Lake

Mother and Daughter
Courtney is one of the sweetest people I know.
She is always dressed super cute. I love her wrap dress. Which I
will never go out of style. Thanks to Diane Von Furstenberg
You can wear this dress all season long!

Gracie!! You gorgeous chic girl! Can you believe she dressed herself!
You can't see it in the picture but her skirt has a beautiful sequence around the waist.
Wow! Like Mother like daughter. I think Courtney's sense of style has rubbed off on her.
She has the two other little girls that are just as adorable.

I'm Back!!

I just got back from a well overdue vacation to Melbourne, Australia!

Lots of apologies for lack of blog posts! But I felt truly inspired over there and have lots that I would like to share with you.

Packing for this trip was a bit of a problem, mainly due to going to a country that has different climate all year round. I was traveling to Melbourne, which is cold and we went up to Queensland is warm and sunny. I never really put together outfits or consider the fun outings that I’ll be dressing for, but instead just throw lots of random pieces into an overstuffed suitcase. But sometimes, I need a little help. In order to get some inspiration, I chose six images that incorporate trends with seamless grace and style.

Black leggings and loose, flowy tops

Denim shirt, black + white striped tops + anything in camel

Whispy layers + Oversized belts

Silky blouse + pearls

Army Green Military pieces

Over the knee boots (flat or heeled)

Let me know how you go, on your next trip away!

Clarissa is a new Mommy to a cute little guy. I think she look's great here. Love the colors of her top and matching accessories. She looks comfortable yet elegant. Way to go Clarissa!

At Church....Salt Lake City

I have a couple beautiful ladies to show off this week. The first one is Celeste, she is Liam's Primary teacher at Church. Every week she looks so good! I swear every outfit she owns is gorgeous. You can't really see in the picture but she has a purple t-shirt underneath her lace top, I loved it!

Tina is a rocking single babe dressed in modern skirt and shirt combination. Classic A-line skirt with pockets. With black tights to pull the outfit together and ground it.
*Tip* Chunky black belts are a staple accessory in any wardrobe.

At Church....Salt Lake City

There is something about this color palette that she has put together that looks relaxed yet romantic at the same time. It all flows well. Love her shoes too! You can't see it but she had a cute floraly bag.

*Tip* If you see a top that isn't modest or even a dress, you can always throw on a cardigan and cover it up. I've seen super cute things and thought oh bummer I can't wear that because it has straps. So don't limit yourself, make sure you have a couple of cardigans in basic colors that will match any outfit.

The Fireside...Mini Conevention, Melbourne

This girl has it going on! She's all style, especially her hair-cut!
*Tip* A great hair-cut can be all the difference to make or break a style.  Put a little bit of effort into your hair style ladies, it's all apart of the outfit.

The Fireside...Mini Conevention, Melbourne

Gorgeously unique! You have to wear an outfit like this with confidence...she has that! And that's what makes it work.

Bart Has got great style. I love his signature bow tie. He pretty much always has one on and it's what always makes his outfit his!

At the Dance, Friday night...Melbourne

These two girls look like they've just stepped off the same runway show. Not only because they look like models, but they just match each other, it's awesome.
I especially love their coats! A classic trench, particularly in a beige or cream, is a must-have in every girls wardrobe.

At the Dance, Friday night...Melbourne

The boys are bringing in the style. It seems the latest trend is buttoning the shirt all the way to the top...with out a tie. I remember when this look was only seen when dressing up as a nerd/computer geek/school boy/your highschool teacher....now it is stylish! Fashion is awesome like that. Something that was a complete fashion no no, may one day be the latest trend!

At the Dance, Friday night...Melbourne

This dress is from the opp-shop...can you believe it! Once again, the opp-shop proves to be a winner. Unique treasures can be found if you are willing to rummage through all the...umm...well, not so treasured.

At the Dance, Friday night...Melbourne

This beautiful girl was a bit camera shy. Ladies...don't be! You're all gorgeous! Especially when you smile! So if someone comes up to you and say 'gee, you look great, can I take your photo?' just chuck on that shinning grin and give them what you got!

At the Dance, Friday night...Melbourne

These two sisters are all elegance. I'm absolutely loving the little red socks Victoria is wearing...and the lace up shoes! You've got to get into them. They look great with pretty much any outfit.

At the Dance, Friday night...Melbourne

I've been seeing more and more hats lately...and bennies! It's a great way to give your outfit some instant individuality and style.
This one is gorgeous! Coupled with the oversized coat...she looks like a supermodel!

At the Dance, Friday night...Melbourne

This gorgeous looking girl definitely catches your eye. The glasses, the hair cut, the bennie.....pretty much everything about this out fit is just awesomely unique.  This may be her mums old jumper and you'd usually say white runners with black stockings is a big no no... but she has pulled this look off wonderfully!
*Tip* Take a risk! After all...it's just clothes!

At Church....Salt Lake City

As you can see Vanessa is a gorgeous example of a young lady. She looks elegant and confident. Her outfit can work for both the office and Church which  is quite versatile. I also  adore her accessories. A dash of color with a red bag and cute floral pumps. High waisted skirt is sticking around ladies. So she will look great for a long time to come with this staple number. You can mix it up with a blouse or just a plain shirt and a thick belt over it and you have a new outfit! I just love key item's that can be worn several different ways.

But we all have days were "we can't find anything to wear" my best tip is to go back to basics that you know 100% work for you. I have several outfits that are put together so when ever I'm having of those days they are my "go to outfits."  Sometimes I think we need to be  reminded to stop obsessing about our personal imperfections and start highlighting the little gifts.

The Mormon Fashionist...times TWO!

The time is soon coming when I will no longer be able to bring you the spotted fashions of LDS members in Melbourne. Yes, it is true. I am serving an 18 month long mission in Salt Lake City, Utah, for the Mormon church. This means no blogging! But never fear!...My awesome, and stylish, friend will be taking over and no doubt, will do a better job then me.
She is a Melbourne girl, now living in Utah! She will be capturing fashion in Utah and whilst I'm still here, I'll keep bringing you the Melbourne style. It will be great! There will be more pics for you to view and more advice for you to hear...well, read...
Her name is Elle, she will post under her name, and I under mine, Brianna.

Keep checking us out!
And always remember...modest is Hottest
keep looking gorgeous

In the Chapel, YSA Fireside...Melbourne

It seems Ashly has thrown this style together so easy. It's relaxed, it's cool and she looks confident! That is what makes this work.

*Tip* Once I was tossing over what to wear (as us ladies often do). I was asking my friends opinion on what outfit she thought looked best, she just looks at me and says 'wear what you feel most comfortable in'. I though about this, then went and put on what I really felt the best in. I thought this was great advice. However, the comfort that I'm talking about here is not the tracky-dack, ugg-boot and baggy T-shirt wearing sort of comfort that should only be seen inside your own household!! I'm talking about the comfort of liking how you look, of wearing something that suits you, that suits your figure, that suits your style and reflects your personality. Of wearing something that emulates the kind of person you are and how you want to be viewed. Yes, of course, don't be afraid to step out of your little small box of what style is if you're feeling your style needs a bit of tweaking. But always make sure you feel comfortable. Go to that bit of extra effort to do your hair a little nicer and put on a little mascara if it makes you feel prettier (and I don't mean that in a shallow way). Just wear that dress that's a little bit different, but you love it and how you look in it. Do you know what I mean!? Be comfortable about how you look! Because comfort equals confidence and confidence with-in ones self, true confidence, is what really makes a person look great!
