Accessories...

Here are some great pointers on how to accessories for this summer...

Layering necklaces with the same color tone..

Baubles are a statement piece for an outfit that doesn't need to much..

My personal favorite, your boyfriend's/hubby's watch with your favorite bangles..

Mix and match bangles and cuffs for a layered effect.

Looking at these photo's makes me want to move to Amsterdam.
I'm in love everything European.
Always have been.
They ooze style with very little effort.
They are really ahead with self expression.
I get a lot of my influences from their fearless style.

Inspiration

Every Sunday morning I like to think about what outfit I can pull together with my clothes that I haven't done before. Sometimes I like to look at fashion magazine's for this inspiration. I was flipping through Instyle magazine and discovered an outfit with pieces that I knew I had never worn before together. I was super excited to try it on. Once I did, I got the approval from my hubby I was set to go.

White Shirt (Witchery), Skirt (Gap), Belt (Thrifted), Shoes (Sportsgirl)

This was a very comfortable outfit.

Tiffany is a great example of a gorgeous young lady who always dresses beautifully and modestly. I've seen her week to week wearing cute dresses that can be both worn in winter and summer. She just pairs with them leggings and boots.

I really love her dress, I think what pulled everything together were the white beaded necklace and white peek-boo pumps.

Holy Cow I want this dress...

I've been really into floral prints lately, but I got to say lace has blown me away.  It's propping up everywhere. I always thought it was a bit grandma-ish but this little piece reminds of me a nice antique piece you might find in your grandma's closest with modern alterations. I would go minimal accessories and not over the top hair either, just keep it simple, after all, it's a statement piece.

Church in Orem, Utah

I met this lovely lady today at my cousin's return missionary talk. She really inspired me with her beautiful style. Mainly because I find it hard to wear shorter skirts with leggings but she does it so effortlessly. What made the outfit I think are her shoes! Hayley is an amazing example of a young and beautiful girl who shows confidence through her fashion.

What I'll be wearing to Church next Sunday

One of my favorite ways to wear a cardigan - tucked into a pencil skirt. I wanted to show how this can work nicely for longer cardigans, as long as they are thin and fitted.

All Tied Up

Lately I’ve been all about complete ensembles; with crisp blouses and high-waisted textured skirts. More specifically, I’m loving the polished feel of these tops with billowy sleeves and playful bows at the neck. Whether in some sort of pretty pattern, a solid color or just a simple white, they’re a fun departure from normal button-downs, but still feel polished.

Church in SLC downtown

Asusena is a fashionista, she has unbelievable style and taste. She made her own skirt. I just love it. She works part time at the Buckle downtown. If you want some great tips, go and see her!
