In the Chapel...YSA Fireside, Melbourne
When Isabelle steps into a room, you can't help but notice her outfit! I admire her fearless ensembles of way out colours and combinations. And I'm pretty sure her shoe collection has got to be in a gallery one day! I don't know where she gets them from but it's definitely not the average shoe store I shop at!
Who said an RM has to dress like her granma! Corrine, recently returned, has got it going on! *Tip* Blondes look hot in black!...and it's slimming!

Gorgeous! Is what comes to mind. The girl and the dress. And to think she got this from the Salvo's! Jealous much? I think so! Some people just have a special talent for finding the rose amongst the thorns.
*Tip* GO OP-SHOPPING. You have to be willing to file through everything to find something good! But it can be fun! You can find awesome bargains, unique pieces AND your helping our planet by recycling (no need to feel guilty about being a fashion consumer).

At the Mission Prep Class...The Lowes, Melbourne
Michael's a lucky guy! Don't we all wish we could look this awesome in a skin tight pencil skirt! *Tip* For those of us who don't have perfect bodies (like the one we see above) elastic girdles (the giant elastic underwear we've been seeing more and more of) really can work wonders. It can make our curves streamline and wont give us those ugly underwear lines. So don't be turned off by their hugeness...give them a try, and you'll see how they can make it look like you've been going to the gym...when really, you've been sitting at home on facebook.
At the Mission Prep Class...1920's style, Melbourne
Nicki's always looking gorgeous. With her 1920's inspired style, she knows how to rock it modest. *Tip* Don't be afraid to be a little bit riskay. Nicki said she wasn't too sure about the knee high socks, I say, they look great! She's really pulled it off. If you try to be a little bit risky and don't pull it off, it doesn't matter! There's always tomorrow to try again!

The Beginning
One of the biggest challenges for a Latter Day Saints women is finding clothes that are modest and stylish...well maybe it's not the biggest challenge, but it's up there!
We've all experienced those moments where it feels like we've been shopping endlessly, but still can't seem to find the 'right' dress! A dress that is the right colour, the right style, not too over the top, not too plain, suits our figure, our style, our personality....the list goes on!
Try adding to that list the requirements for it not to be strapless, boob tube, tummy baring, leg baring, back baring, chest baring...this tends to make things a little more difficult. Don't get me wrong, I love dressing modestly! It's classy, it's hot and we should all show respect to our bodies! It can just be a challenge sometimes...especially when there's a YSA or Youth Ball coming up!
It sucks when you find an decent dress (usually meaning, it goes to the knee!) and then have to cover it up with a tacky shrug...which ends up making you get ginormous sweat patches! Not too good when you're trying to attract the prey (men that is)!
What I'm out to do is not fix this problem...but help a sister out! Give her some advice and share with her what our other sister in the church are doing to keep it modest but hotest. A girl loves fashion, there's no doubt about it and although we shouldn't covet it, worship it, or spend our entire incomes on designer pieces, there's nothing wrong with having fun with what we wear.
Photos will be going up of real women in the church who have got it right. They're looking good and covering up. Whether they're just coming to church on Sunday or they're at a YSA dance, I'm going to capture them in action!
Keep on checking us out!
